Electric assistance

Paddle more easily with Itiwit's electric assistance

ELECTRIC ASSIST

How do you like the sound of going out on your inflatable stand-up paddle board, canoe or kayak with electric assistance to help you paddle even further with less effort?

ELECTRIC ASSISTANCE FITS YOUR ITIWIT CRAFT

Are you wondering how to use your electric assist and on which types of craft?
It just so happens that it fits all of our ITIWIT touring craft. If you are going on holiday with a 3-seat inflatable kayak and a compact stand-up paddle board, have no fear, the assist plugs into both of these craft if they are fitted with the Itiwit "fin box" (see user guide).

EASY TO CARRY

Our Itiwit team develops inflatable stand-up paddle boards and kayaks that fit inside a backpack. It was therefore essential for our product managers to come up with an electric assist that would be as easy to carry as it is to use.

The electric assist is easy to carry, weighing just 1.7 kg and measuring 50 cm, which means it fits inside a bag or on the side of the bag used to carry your craft.

EASY TO USE

The electric assist is activated by simply pressing the middle button on the remote control after choosing the desired assistance level (1, 2 or 3). Please bear in mind that we have designed this product as a paddle assist and we strongly recommend paddling at the same time to make the most of your trip and to optimise battery life and distances covered.

Instruction pictograms can be found in the user guide of your electric assistance. If you have any further questions, please contact us via our support site.

📖 QUICK GUIDE: How do I install the electric assist on my kayak or my SUP and connect the battery?

The electric assist is installed in place of one of the fins of your craft; remove one of the fins if it is already fitted, insert the motor in its place, insert the pin to secure it in place.
For the battery, insert it the right way up with the battery connector facing downwards. Connect the motor cable to the battery then close the nose of the motor by lining up the mark with the padlock then screwing it in clockwise one full turn until the mark is again in line with the padlock. For a watertight connection, the seal must be clean and in good condition, and the nose of the motor screwed on correctly.
