Storage advice
Rinse with fresh water to remove the salt and sand then leave to dry before storing in a dry place away from light.
Use restriction
Do not use in stormy conditions.

To adjust the paddle, open the latch, pull the handle to the desired length, then close the latch. The flat alignment area ensures that the handle is properly aligned with the blade. If it is not fastened tightly enough, open the latch and tighten the metal screw. Depending on the usage (touring/race/surf), the paddle can be adjusted between 0 and 20 cm above your height.
For better grip on the shaft, apply a little wax to the handle.

    Design flaw

I really wanted one of these paddles but after inspecting them in the shop, they have design flaw. There is rotation at the joints meaning it won't paddle properly and it will wear and tear faster.

The piece with the handle isnt a full circle, there is a flat section which you see in more expensive paddles to prevent rotation. However the shaft this connects into only has the flat section at the top, and it's made of plastic. The rest of carbon shaft is a full circle, allowing the pieces to rotate easily when they should be locked together.

Increasing the tightness of the screw didt help. You need to make both pieces the same shape all the way down the shaft.

Seems like a solid paddle at an amazing price let down by a small design feature.

This paddle is the best I've ever used. I've been SUP surfing for 10 years and have had various paddles include top of the range Kailua ones. Its extremely light , beautifully adjustable with a great , solid mechanism without a hint of rattle. I have 3 , and we use them in big surf as well as for flat water touring. The blade size allows a fast cadence for catching waves , but has enough power for touring. The scoop in the blade definitely stabilises the blade. We have broken one , although it had been used for 6 months. It was quickly replaced under warranty

    Didn't live up to expectations

It arrived promptly and was well packaged.
Ive been using it for a few weeks now and have mixed views on the paddle, for the following reasons.
    1) The weight is great, with just enough flex.
    2) The clip keeps coming loose and sliding down. Im an engineer and have tried various methods thread lock, waxing the shaft, tightening the adjustment screw, even with it tightened to its maximum permissible limit it still slips down.
    3) all the orange paint has been scratched away where it is marked to maximum, which is very disappointing.
    4) Its performance in the water is not great, due to the profile its extremely eager in the water, and with the taper towards the top allows too much water to escape on each stroke.
    5) finally I’m 6’7 and I thought 210cm would be enough in length, but unfortunately its not with its characteristics.
