If it is not fastened tightly enough, open the latch and tighten the metal screw. The paddle should be adjusted to around 15-20 cm less than your height: E.g.: for a person 1.90 m tall, adjust the paddle to 2.10 m E.g.: for a person 1.50 m tall, adjust the paddle to 1.70 m

    Excellent Paddle for the Money

After some research on paddles I was impressed at the spec of this paddle & despite some mixed reviews would like to thank the positive review of "Paddleboard Instructor, Land & Wave, Dorset" for helping me to reach the decision to purchase. This is an excellent 60% carbon shaft 15% blade paddle at this price point. Have tested so far on a up /down stream on a 7 mile river section & its been a real game changer for me. Paddle looks excellent quality and feels great in action. My stroke rate has increased significantly very helpful when paddling into a head wind. 760g reduced weight has again significantly improved fatigue. Ergonomic plastic handle is comfortable in use. QC excellent arrived in perfect condition from warehouse. This is my initial review after 7 miles use...look forward to updating this review after a couple of months.

Good Paddle, but there is a flaw

The paddle itself is great and does the job well. However there is a design defect with the retainer clip that keeps the two parts together. The metal it is made from is too thin and it has broken twice due to a small amount of corrosion! The first time it was replaced and it has happened again so it definitely needs to be rectified. A small piece of cord to hold the retainer in place sorts it out.

    Used with my ITIWIT board

    Really impressed with this paddle.

It feels strange to get a carbon shaft for less than £120. If you use your SUP around salt water having a carbon shaft really helps with the lack of seizing to the adjustable function. With aluminium unless you are so careful it will eventually become a fixed paddle!

The plastic blade compliments the shaft to make a very good and comfortable piece of equipment.

The T-grip handle is once again a good shape and size. In an ideal world I would prefer it to be less fixed in one position to allow for steering and control strokes but this is more for advanced paddling techniques.

A great paddle and one which we are considering buying for our own outdoor centre.
